Nurses Clinic
Throughout our Kingswells and Millburn branches we regularly hold nurse clinics which cover various aspects of your pets’ health including routine pet care, dental, weight, nutrition and behaviour. Our clinics are by appointment and are held by fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurses. These appointments give owners the chance to get more information about their pets’ routine care. Our nurses will also help you identify symptoms that can be treated early before they develop further.
We provide many regular pet care services;
- Anal gland expression
- Ear cleaning
- Nail clipping
- Tick removal.
- Wound dressing changes and suture removals
- Minor dematting/grooming
- Microchipping
Weight Clinic/Nutrition
To help your pet stay at their optimum weight our nurses can advise on nutritional and dietary needs for your pet. Overweight animals can go on to develop other problems such as arthritis, diabetes, heart disease and breathing problems. With various diet products now available our nurses will guide you to the best product available for your pets’ needs.
Puppy & Kitten care
Our nurses can provide advice on vaccinations, training, socialisation, diet, and toys. We offer a free puppy or kitten check for pets who have just reached their new home and are between their 1st and 2nd vaccination with the veterinary surgeon.
Dental care
We recommend your pet gets regular dental checks. The nurses can advise preventative care such as tooth brushing, toothpastes, supplements, dental food, dental chews and dental toys. Depending upon diet, rabbits and guinea pigs teeth can grow long and their teeth may need trimmed to enable them to eat. Our nurses will advise on the best diet for your animal to help with dental care.
